Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Rajvinder Singh, trading as KCube Labs (a sole proprietorship; "we"), who operates ShortlistKiya. By creating an account or using ShortlistKiya, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy notice.

1. What ShortlistKiya is

A career workspace: it helps you keep your career documents and evidence, evaluate opportunities, prepare tailored CVs, cover letters and interview material, and track applications. It does not apply to jobs, send messages or contact anyone on your behalf. You decide what to send, to whom and when.

2. Your account

• You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• New accounts may be reviewed before they can use the workspace.
• One person per account. Don't share accounts or use someone else's.

3. Your content and your responsibility

• You own what you add — CVs, documents, notes and anything you write. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide ShortlistKiya to you (see the Privacy notice).
• AI output is a draft. ShortlistKiya flags numbers it can't verify and uses only claims you confirm, but you are responsible for checking everything you send to an employer or recruiter. Don't present anything as true that isn't.
• Only upload material you have the right to use. Don't upload other people's personal data beyond what's needed (for example, a recruiter's name on an email you received).

4. Acceptable use

Don't use ShortlistKiya to break the law, to misrepresent yourself or others, to harass anyone, to send spam, to probe or overload our systems, to scrape the service, or to resell it. We may suspend accounts that do.

5. Plans and payments

Plans, prices and AI-action allowances are described on Pricing. Payments are processed by our payment partner; we don't store your card details. Refunds follow our Refunds and cancellation policy. We may change prices for future purchases with notice; a plan you've paid for keeps its price until it ends.

6. Third-party services

ShortlistKiya uses services such as Google (sign-in, read-only Gmail, picked Drive files), AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini) and others listed in the Privacy notice. If you use your own AI provider key, your use of that provider is also governed by its terms and billed by it.

7. Availability

We work to keep ShortlistKiya available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is", without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any application will lead to an interview or offer.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to ShortlistKiya is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost opportunities or earnings.

9. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; we'll show the date above and tell you about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
